HOW IT WORKS

Book an appointment with one of our psychologists and wait for your email confirmation.

Once your appointment time has been confirmed, you can follow the link sent to your email to create your account.

Once your account has been created you can choose to make a payment immediately, or wait until the beginning of your session.

Nearing the time of your appointment, a session link will be sent to your email address, which will ask you to login to your account to access the session. Please note: you will not be able to activate the session until it has been paid for.

Once payment has been approved, you will be taken to an online waiting room where your psychologist will be waiting for you.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your First Online Session

Starting your first online session may come with some thoughts about what the process might entail. Below we have provided you with some helpful tips to get started.

Here are a few helpful tips to help you get started.

First of all, ensuring that you have found a quiet area in your home, office, or space in which you have chosen to conduct your session, and will be able to remain in that area for the full duration of your session. We suggest a space that is free of any other people, including children and preferably with a closed door in case anyone else is close to the space to ensure confidentiality.

You will need to ensure that any interruptions are limited to allow your full attention throughout the session. We understand that not all interruptions can be predicted, but it would be helpful to ensure that you have accounted for predictable interruptions to not occur during the sessions.

Ensuring that you have a camera on your computer (most computers have one these days). If not, you are also able to access the link and conduct your session via your mobile phone or tablet. You may need to update your Display & Brightness settings on your device in order to have a smooth session with no blackouts. To do this: Go to Settings from the main icon and chose Display & Brightness Set Auto-Lock to NEVER After your session, you may wish to change it back in order to not lose battery life

You will require a good network connection. If you are using your desktop computer, we suggest using the the web browser "Firefox" for the best experience. If you are using your mobile phone, try downloading the "Thera-Link" app for ease-of-use and access.
